School of Education, Psychology and Sociology, SibFU

School of Education, Psychology and Sociology (SEPS) was established in January 2008 as a result of the merger of Psychological and Pedagogical Faculty of the School of Sciences and Humanities, Department of Engineering and Education of Krasnoyarsk State Technical University and the Chair of Vocational Training of University of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold.
In April 2010, the Faculty of Informatization of Social Systems from University of Urban Planning, Management and Regional Economy joined the School of Education, Psychology and Sociology.
In connection with the transition to a two-tier education system (Bachelor + Master) in order to improve the quality of bachelor’s and master’s training in the framework of the School’s education programs, the School was restructured in November 2013 when the Chair of Higher School Education and the Chair of Information Technologies in Education were merged into the Chair of Information Technologies in Education and Lifelong Learning; the Chair of Developmental Psychology and the Chair of Mental Health were combined into the Chair of Developmental Psychology and Counseling. The Laboratory of Psychological Counseling, diagnosis and correction of the Department of Developmental Psychology was given a status of an independent structural unit of the School of Education, Psychology and Sociology.
Doctor of Educational Sciences, Prof., member of RAE Olga Smolyaninova has been a director of SEPS from the very beginning of the School of Education, Psychology and Sociology.
Today, School of Education, Psychology and Sociology is one of the leading institutions of SibFU in the area of humanitarian training, with more than a thousand students studying at SEPS’s five chairs, and more than 200 students graduate from SEPS every year.

School of Education, Psychology and Sociology also includes Educational and Organizational Department, Centre of Professional Retraining, Psychological and Pedagogical Clinic and Centre for Multicultural Education “Tempus”.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

School of Education, Psychology and Sociology also offers various programs for advanced study and retraining.

The School has well-equipped facilities for training our students: 2 computer classes, Laboratory of Information and Telecommunication Technologies in Education, and Art Studio.

PROJECTS

• “Actions of Lifelong Learning addressing Multicultural Education and Tolerance in Russia”" (ALLMEET)
  Aimed at developing lifelong learning placing multicultural education and tolerance in Russia in the focus of the project;
• “Development of Scientific and Educational Complex of Krasnoyarsk region by means of Electronic Platform of Lifelong Learning (PL2S)” (RHSF)
  Aimed at Scientific and Educational Complex of Krasnoyarsk region developing for socialization and integration of migrants into society by education.
